**My Trick or Treat Toy**

Sealed the deal this weekend on a 1967 Custom Suburban 4x4.

Been thinking about it for a while now and going to piece back together my '67 Truck and end up selling it.
Here are some pictures.

Nothing fancy but will get the job done for what I indeed to use it for this winter and future use.

Just perplexed what is the box under my 2nd seat?

Guessin' A/C since it has a compressor and lines running down the frame rail.

Oh well should be fun even though the cab is not orginal A/C setup.

Happy Halloween everyone!

btw --- the answer is YES that is a bathtub in the background. My Neighbor is making a BLOODBATH scene from the movie PYCHO!!!

Looks like a solid burb! I think it would look killer with some 35's and a lift.

That is one sweet 'Burb. If it were me, I'd get some factory steelies with 33s on them, then skip the lift. I think it would look cool if as stock as possible.

Has 33's now and not really looking to going crazy with lifts and what-nots.

Under the hood someone shoe horned an Olds 455 ci engine.

More later.

Sweet burb, and nice score! I'd just drive that bad boy and just fix or upgrade it to how you want it.

Wink Re: **My Trick or Treat Toy**

Yes it does!

And hoping by the end of this week it will be happening.

Bought it w/o a working transmission. So now I am hoping for a fast and reliable rebuild so I can shove it back in there and DRIVE this big beast!

Re: **My Trick or Treat Toy**

Thanks firedog.

Had them do my 1994 Jeep tranny once and was not impressed.

Got a local guy, Tom Terbrock that is suppose to be very good and reasonable. My problem is my friend said he will not warranty it if I buy the rebuild kit else where. Like MonsterInaBox Kit. The PO said this is the second time the tranny has gone out. And it's sitting behind what looks like a mostly stock Olds 455 with just an Edelbrock Troker intake and Quadajet carb.

It's all in the person that rebuilds it, is what Monster Transmission told me.

If you don't mine me asking did you just bring in your tranny or the whole vehicle?

They offer a 6 month waranty if you install it. 12 Month if they do. Firedogs was a drop off P/U one already to go with new torque convertor. However you have the option to stand and watch them rebuild yours if you so desire. Pretty amazing team to see. I wouldn't be afraid to use them. Was 450 exchange for 350 turbo 550 exchange on 700R4. Shift kits were additional 50 installed. Cash n carry out. Prices might be slightly higher since these quotes.

Re: **My Trick or Treat Toy**

It is a K20.

Look at Post#1 Picture #2 to the right, those are 8 lug wheels.

Even though the Badging states Red Bowtie 20 it is a 4x4.

I still can not get anyone to I.D. the box under the seat for me. It has to be either factory or non-factory addon A/C as there is a A/C knob on the dash on the left hand side lower below the dash.

I'm confused, in the 2nd pic, that is a 6 lug wheel on the front axle. Was this a 3/4 ton burb someone converted to 4x4?

Re: **My Trick or Treat Toy**

What does your VIN tell you? If it started life as a 3/4 it should begin with KE26. If it was born as a 1/2 ton it would begin with KE16.
