Anyone know what they came on? Or if aftermarket, what brand?

Re: I want these mirrors...

not my style at all, those are like west coat mirrors or big truckers mirrors, probably aftermarket, jcwhitney might have them.

Most ppl get rid of the ones you got for smaller ones, I personally like the ones you got, they call em dumbo ears, them big old west coast style look more like dumbos to me. Too big IMo and better on a big rig, but everyone has their own taste. I could see the need for em and being that big, on them big old trucks, both look good btw.

Re: I want these mirrors...

I would imagine they are good for seeing behind you, esp. with a big lifted truck.

Re: I want these mirrors...

If you do a lot of backing-up, as in delivery or service work, the west coast style really does help. Nice amount of vertical real-estate from the pavement on up. Not real good for towing if the trailer is wide, as they are generally not extendable.

I'm sure they are available from a service truck outfitters, like Auto Safety House (ASH) here in Phoenix.

Re: I want these mirrors...

The west coasts are great for rear visibility, especially with a trailer or something like that. however they do create enough of a blind spot in your side-forward view to hide a small car at say... an intersection... its something you gotta watch for if you get em. its not dangerous as long as you know theres a blind spot there and check it regularly.

Re: I want these mirrors...

i like the big trucker ones, and was looking for some to put cb attennas on my 87 burb.
till i seen them in person ,felt they stuck out to far just for a "look" i wanted.
On my 78 jimmy it came with a slight different bend in the mirror arm,to keep them closer i guess(too close, changed to burbs).
