Re: bed bolts
LMC has a kit for the bed bolts, can't get much easier than that.

Re: bed bolts
If you have a local Ace Hardware Store I would give it a try....anytime I need some kind of bolt or nut for my truck they had them.

Re: bed bolts
thats what i was plannin on doing. lmc bolt kit is kinda pricey so i figured a bolt is a bolt and you can get them cheaper at a hardware store instead of paying like $2 a bolt at lmc i found you can get a bolt for like less then a doller at the hardware store

Re: bed bolts
count up your bolts..
the kit is 29 bucks.. at a buck a bolt at hardware store( don't forget the washers and nut is extra) you have only 29 bolts.. I'll bet the kit is cheaper than the local hardware store.. the S/S is 59.00 have u priced bolts/washers/lock washers(if used)and nuts non graded junk you might get at 1.29 a set (bolt/washer(s)/nuts) MIGHT.. good luck.. |

Re: bed bolts
local purchase no wait no shipping costs which people dont include in there "bargin" prices they quote from LMC
no need for "graded" bolts as there is no load to speak of in an assembled bed for better grade tho look at a boat supply place my local fastener company has galzanized for less than50cents each stainless less than a dollar

Re: bed bolts
Try your local Tractor Supply Company or Fastenal store, probably be cheaper than most hardware stores.

Re: bed bolts
The large washers with the offset square hole is not available in hardware stores. These are the ones that hold the bed down.
