Inside of a Grill
Hey guys and gals,
A quick question. I have a 69 GMC and I'm prepping it for paint. I thought I would really clean and polish the grill while I had everything apart. The outside of the grill is pretty nice but the inside facing the radiator has a lot of surface rust. Iwas wondering what you folks recommend for fixing it. Should I sand off the rust and just paint it with some por15 or what? Also, was the underside of the hood painted the body color? Mine has been rattle canned black so I don't know what the original color was. Thanks, Scott

The underside of the hoods were all done in the body color from the factory. Not sure how to handle that grill problem though

I think the sand and POR would be the best thing you could do.
