swaps
i have done alot of research on swaps here but i was wondering if anyone has ever done a huge year swap like 67-72 on a 90s frame and drivetrain? or any other exteme swaps?

There's an old man, not too far from here, who uses '88-98 chassis' and replaces the sheetmetal with 64-66 components. He's doing one as this is written. I assume that you could also just use the '67-72 sheet metal. The one he's doing right now has a stepside (88-98) bed, which doesn't have the same wheel opening contour as the front wheel opening on the '66 he's using. I personally don't like the mis-match of wheel openings. Here's a pic of Joel McPherson's custom which Squeege did using '88-98 wheel openings. It's clean.
