Re: Blazer sliding window
Never saw them before. I like them - sort of like the old Suburban sliders.
PS- Nice find!

Re: Blazer sliding window
Those look like a rear sliding window for a truck... same concept but made for a blazer.

Re: Blazer sliding window
I was at a junkyard monday that had a 73 and up blazer with sliders. Anyone know if they will fit a first gen top? It looks very similar.

Re: Blazer sliding window
I seen a first gen blazer on a cover for a catalog. I think it was AirRide technologies. One of them had the slider windows and it looked bad a$$. I think I need a set of them too.

Re: Blazer sliding window
Oh man! that's a great find. I've been looking for a set for years. I've seen 1 truck locally that had them and I have a bunch of pictures of them on different trucks.
I know that the 73+ blazer windows don't fit....though I've thought that I might Mod a top to accept them. Livrat, do you want to let those windows go?

Re: Blazer sliding window
I've seen pictures of a couple of different styles of rear window sliders. Most I've seen have one sliding part. These would be great for a daily driver. My 4 year old son is always asking me why the back windows don't open.

Re: Blazer sliding window
Back in 72 I remember here in Northern VA they were quite common. I was only 7 but my Dad had several friends with 72 blazers that we went camping in. They all had them. Too young and my Dad is gone to find out where they came from. Nice Find

Re: Blazer sliding window
Sold a top with sliders a few months ago to Clezski. It's an old aftermarket kit I believe and they work well. He'll second that I think. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=416492

Re: Blazer sliding window
I bought a double wall top with sliders. Will they fit in my single wall top?

Re: Blazer sliding window
I bought Bigeasycigars top with the sliders. Love it. Really helps cool the interior down and perfect for people in the back to dangle an arm out of. Ugly...I don't think so. I actually like the aluminum frame
For those that have or want these, beware that you must get the rubber gasket with it. It is much different that the gasket for either single or double wall tops with plain glass. |

Re: Blazer sliding window
To each their own - You obviously like the look and function, but it isn't a mod I would make on my Blazer.

I like them. I think they add to the Old School charm.
