Re: Chromed Blazer!

i also like how the odometer has lost 800 miles since 2003. by the car report the milage was 04/29/2003 CINCINNATI, OH 6,873 , in the pic it reads 6019....maybe its christine's big brother!!

Re: Chromed Blazer!

I'm not sure if I believe the miles either, look at the booster and the engine, you would think that they would be cleaner

Re: Chromed Blazer!

15k paint job... the chrome wheels, small street tires, and firebird on the hood dont work for me. NOW, no bird on hood, no side trim, 6in lift, 18in rims with 35in mud tires... OR 2wd conversion and slammed.... I dunno.. Just reminds me of a chrome mub flap or something

Re: Chromed Blazer!

I have seen a couple all chrome cars, and always wondered why? Too much money and not enough brain?

Re: Chromed Blazer!

so is that paint or chrome or did they polish the sheet metal and clear it? don't get me wrong, it was interesting, but as soon as i saw the underhood shots i cringed. that much detail on the interior and body and the engine looks like that?

Re: Chromed Blazer!

Just quoted from the site
Why?
I am pleased to offer this one of a kind 1984 Chevrolet K1500 Blazer from the world famous Bob McDorman Collection. Many of you know that Bob McDorman had one of the finest Corvette collections in the world along with other significant Chevrolet vehicles. Mr. McDorman has a major Chevrolet dealership in the Columbus Ohio area and has been collecting for years. This Chrome Blazer that I am presenting was sold by Dana Mecum just this past November 6th and is now available to the world. To quote Mecum “Never has the world seen a more worthy candidate for the title of “show stopper” than this outlandish 1984 Chevrolet K1500 Blazer, whose rare marvelous condition is completely overshadowed by its entirely chrome plated sheet metal, including all exterior panels and door jambs”. I was told that this Blazer was done to promote a major USA chrome shop and after market sheet metal company. At some point Mr. McDorman acquired the Blazer and it became a permanent part of his collection. The miles showing are correct miles. I have provided many pictures to show the condition and detail of this fabulous truck. I might add that this Blazer is equipped with factory air conditioning, removable top, 4X4 power train, small block Chevrolet V8, automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. If you have any question simply call or email. Our reserve is set to sell the vehicle and not just to have it appraised. Thanks for looking.

i'll take it

Why?
Cuz if they hadn't chromed it the paint would have been pink

Looks like something an oil sheik would order up.
