Re: totaled c10 to rebuild
Sorry about your truck, glad everyone was okay. Hope you get a fair price so that you can rebuild. Think of it as a chance that you change what you didn't like the first time around.

Re: totaled c10 to rebuild
They did a number on the truck, But any crash you can walk away from,
Is a blessing. It still doesn't mean, That you didn't want to grab up the cab driver, And smack him around a little until help arrived. LOL! here is an add from craigslist http://columbusga.craigslist.org/pts/2075901754.html Spike

Re: totaled c10 to rebuild
Sorry to hear about your truck, but trucks are replaceable. You are all right, and that's what counts.

Re: totaled c10 to rebuild
Just think if you were in a "newer" model without the thicker sheet metal what it would have been like. These trucks are made of real metal, dont have standard airbags...etc... I believe thier safer in most ways. Hope the cab company had good insurance. make them pay. Buy another and have fun with it. Glad youare ok..

Re: totaled c10 to rebuild
Glad to see that you walked away from that one, Goes to show the quality of "old sheet metal" holding up when you need it! Happy Thanksgiving Eric

Re: totaled c10 to rebuild
Glad you are Ok man, get another truck, use this one for parts-ask the insurance company what the buy back is if/when the total it.
You know what they say, "Whiplash means quick cash" lol jk, but be careful, the insurance company will want you to 'sign off' future liability in case your injuries have an effect later. May just want to have a chat w a legitimate atty-not an ambulance chaser to cover your back...literally.

Damm!! How fast was she going and what was she driving? Tore your truck up good. All that matters is that no one got hurt. As stated before material things can be replaced. Good luck.
