floor shift
I am contemplating buying a center console out of a newer
Bonneville or Trans Am and am wondering if anyone here has done this with a 350 tranny? If so, is it alot of work, and what might be needed to get the shifter from the column to the floor? It is a 3 speed Auto. Is there an aftermarket linkage or would I have to trek through wrecking yards to find something that might fit? I am going to install some nice leather buckets, and a custom Sub box. Also, I want to relocate the E-brake to the center console style that comes with the console. Is this a major deal? I see alot of posts here about people having difficulty adjusting their e-brake cable, so I am wondering how hard it will be to relocate it. Thanks for any help!!

I would think that a car center console would be too low for a truck.
What about a console out of something like a blazer. |

Did Blazers ever come with the floor shift automatics?
I am getting car bucket seats, so it wil be lower. I think our trucks sit too high anyway.
