What headers should I use?
I'm in the market for a set of headers, but there isn't much information on how they fit certain models. I have a 79 GMC, LWB, 2wd, with a 350. I need to replace the stock manifolds and want to maintain as much clearance from starter, frame, road, and trans. as I can. I think shorties or 3/4 length would be best, but I'm not sure. I cant find anyone who uses anything but full length on a 79. I also would like to have a thick flange and not break the bank. Sanderson headers look like they may work but can find anyone with them. Thanks for any suggestions

Re: What headers should I use?
Try some 78-87 GM " G " body headers (i.e. Chevelle, Monte Carlo, Cutlass). I will be running a pair of Hedman HTC # 68316 full tubes on mine. I think some other guys on here are using G body headers as well. Buy some junk ones 1st for a mock up
