Gauges and glove box door pic's and question

Just finished restoring my gauges and glove box door for my 67 GMC. Thought i would share some pictures. The can said satin black but the black paint came out fairly glossy. does anyone else have a shinny finish around there gauges and is it bothersome when you get a glare off of it when your driving?

Re: Gauges and glove box door pic's and question

I thought I was so damn clever and original when I asked my painter to do matching gauges and glove box door like that. You beat me to it.

I'm thinking of doing my 64 gauge bezel, glove box door and the heater panel in a hydro printing make it look like burl wood. no of any other forum guys that have done that at all?

If you spray satin too wet, it WILL come out a little on the glossy side. If it has too much glare, try another light coat.
