4 Wheel Drive compnents to 2 wheel drive frame?
I just recently picked up a 63 Hi-boy from a local guy in town but it was a long bed step-side. The bed has been sitting on the ground for 20 years and is no good and there is a flat bed on it now. I have a 63 short bed truck i used for parts for another build and now im wondering if anyone could answer the question of whether or not I can just take the 4 wheel drive equipment off and put it on the 2 wheel drive frame? Or if im just dreaming. Didnt know for sure. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Re: 4 Wheel Drive compnents to 2 wheel drive frame?
It shouldn't be too hard to do. I think the front will be the easiest. I believe the rear of the 4x4 frames are a little different than the 2wd frames. I think they don't have the kick out for the coil springs. So I'm not sure just how well the springs and hangers will fit up. Just about anything is possible if you have a welder, torch and some skills.
