well the cats out of the bag

Swmbo Just found out about the new truck , she was a pissed off at first but then later demanded a showing of what I bought , then I told her what it could be worth and she calmed down a little more. I just didnt let her know what I would have to spend to do a frame off resto . not that I am planning to drop that much cash right now just a little bit at a time , heck if she knew all the money I have spent on my bike's she would leave me for sure. But I have always made money off buying and selling 30year old motorcycles why not a 40 year old truck

That line worked pretty good on my wife when the first one showed up. Now I have 3 and only one runs. Any tips? It's lonely on the sofa...

Re: well the cats out of the bag

I told my wife we could pay cash for the 72, sell the 2008, and not have a payment. We did. She wants the payment back.

Re: well the cats out of the bag

well my cousin (older than me) once told me that you have to have a women who can "tolerate" it he was a bodyman and car collector. Now years later i'm married and she don't mind my hobby in fact we bought her a 67 to fix up herself

Re: well the cats out of the bag

hopefully she likes it in the end lol i got a 89 dodge to drive, while i fix the brakes in my 72 c20, she misses the 72 even with the dual straight pipes and cherry bombs. she hates the dodge, me too actually.. i cant get her to love the truck and the hobby but i at least got her interested. she now wants a 1966 chevy van, with v8 and super 40 flowmasters just like my buddies. guess its a start! good luck!
