Parklights

Hi All,
Can someone let me know if the parking lights should be ON when the headlights are ON ?
I cleaned up the a bunch of wiring by the front driver side headlamp as after I removed the electrical tape I found many twisted connections and unconnected wires. After a bit of soldering and cleaning up I found that when I put on my headlights only the passenger side front parking light is on.

I bet you have all seen messes like this on your trucks...

Thanks

Jay

Re: Parklights

I have a 72 C-10 and all the parking/marker lights are on with the headlights. The front markers on the fender even flash when the turn signal is on.

Re: Parklights

There's probably a bunch of stuff to check, but I would first look to the connection at the radiator support there's power to it & the bulb itself. If there's no power to the light, it would need to be chased back to see if it's connected since I take it the passenger is working correctly. If there is power, check the grounds or even power at the bulb housing.
