Because many of us live in remote areas, we may want to be aware of each other so that we might help with parts or service items, please consider signing up here for a buddy list. you will see that I am a very junior member however I do love these trucks. I can vouch for junkyard john. I live in sparks nevada. I have learned quite a bit about these trucks from him. I would be glad to help any way I can.

Hey Guys,
I live in Smith Valley/Wellington Nevada. I love these old trucks. They are a blast to drive, especially when your 16 and all your friends drive imports! I bought mine not too long ago...the guy sorta of restored it. I am having to redo a lot of stuff though. Slowly and surely its getting done the right way though and the way I want it. My truck is a daily driver. You may have seen it...its a Red lowered Stepside with the spare tire fender. If any of you guys know where to find some new doors and rocker panels...that would be great.

in las vegas. presently combining a 72 & 73 blazers to make one good 73 blazer with air cond. will have several parts from 72 for sale and a 454 from the 73 (not original) for sale with a th 400. if i can be of help let me know.

I'm in Henderson. I've had my truck for about 7 years and I'm still working on it. Everytime I get done and drive it I take it apart and change it again. Someday I'll leave it alone.

i bought my first truck as a "yard" truck to haul etc. my terrific wife said, "hey keep it and fix it up". well, now i got the bug. i can vouch that "frost89434" is one of the nicest, most helpful guys i've met on this board. i live in sparks, hopefully i meet junkyard john some time. i do run a cross stuff every so often. hey would everyone post a pic of their truck? here's mine:

I live up in Sun Valley have only had my 67 for less than a year and already am struck by the bug. There is just something about the looks of these trucks.

Nevada Boys, thanks for the replies. I am adding all of you to my buddy list. I look foward to this friendship,and will help any time. my digital camera is down for soft-wear problems but I am going to put a new system in next week.

Nice looking trucks guys!! Mine is going to get repainted pretty soon too. The windstorm we had here in december did some damage to my paint. Insurance is going to repaint it for me! Before I get it painted though I'm going to get new doors and rocker panels.
