Magnaflow Bonus!
I was confused then delighted with my magnaflow exhaust package. Confused because I only have one truck, but delighted I had an extra part instead of being short one part, which I'm sure some unlucky 67-72 owner is.
Honor dictates I sort this out, but I bet Magnaflow tells me to just keep the extra part.Perhaps I'll make a bong out of it.

Re: Magnaflow Bonus!
It's funny...I have a hang up about being a man of honour, always do the right thing, don't take advantage etc. After repeated attempts to contact magnaflow and explain the mistake, all emails have been sent back to me explaining that they don't respond to questions etc. and if I have further questions try this email etc. Each response a form letter.
Fine...I did what I could, but even though I came out ahead I still feel I got crap customer service...ironic isn't it?

Re: Magnaflow Bonus!
Not sure about LMC, I just ordered it through my local exhaust shop and they ordered it from Magnaflow.

Re: Magnaflow Bonus!
I wouldn't mind seeing it go to use but I'm not sure it's worth the shipping?

Re: Magnaflow Bonus!
use both x pipes, if one gains 10-15hp, two should gain 20-30!
Don't forget to stick the magnaflow stickers on too, those ad some RWHP!

Re: Magnaflow Bonus!
Where does the "X" end up being with that system, below the transmission oil pan or just after?

Re: Magnaflow Bonus!
It looks like a nice piece. What's the shipping to 35121? I've gotta put exhaust on my truck.

Re: Magnaflow Bonus!
Don't know the shipping, I'm not a vendor and I'd put some thought into it before you end up getting a part that might cost a lot more to ship from Canada than it's worth and may not be compatible with whatever else you end up with.
Just to be clear to admin. I'm not selling anything here.

Exhaust is going to look great! Make sure to post up pics when you get it installed.

Re: Magnaflow Bonus!
Very commendable of you to make several attempts to contact Magnaflow -- That's more than many would even consider doing.

Re: Magnaflow Bonus!
Well at least you tried, spare parts are always good. I have the same exhaust on my truck and it sounds goods. The install was pretty easy too.

Hey spoof, through it on the Grey hound to Fort st John BC! I'll take it off your hands. I'll actually be staying in victoryia tonight; bro-inlaws stag party. Going to fish near ucluelete and maybe do some surfing but am flying in and out. Doubt air can would let me bring it back without charging an arm and a leg.

Re: Magnaflow Bonus!
I have this same kit on my 68, it sounds wicked. (Big Block)
I don't have mine running through the final pipes yet. I may shorten mine a little and tuck it up into the frame more in the back. They would drag the ground if they were like that behind mine.
