What do you guys think of this??

I'm going to check this truck out tomorrow.
It's a little confusing because it looks like the pictures were taken at two or three different times.

I'm going to switch it back to the regular steelies if I do purchase it.

I sold one like it only Red/White in that price range. I would look at it or have someone look at it for me if you are not close enough. Then If you are interested make him an offer. Looks like they did a nice job on it if they started with a decent cab and bed...

Oh, and welcome to the board...

Is it just me or does the price seem a little high? It does look really nice though!

Re: What do you guys think of this??

It's rare because it's a 3/4 ton!

Its a nice truck for sure!!!! Unfortunatley, I doubt 5 years ago it would bring that and Im fairly sure in this market he would have to pay someone to give him 1/2 of what he is asking. In this market he would have a hard time fetching that if it was a short bed! He does have that "rare" 3/4 ton thing going for him though!!!

I sold mine last September so there are still people out there shopping that have some cash. Without actually seeing and inspecting it my first impression is that it is worth close to what he is asking. Yes, the economy will have an effect on the final price and I would probably offer 12 or 14 but it is still "worth" 15 or 16 if that makes any sense. It could cost that much or more to build depending on how much you had to hire out... and you couldn't drive it for a couple of years...

Just my 2¢ worth

Oh, and some people would consider the 3/4 ton part to be detrimental to the sale. Mine was a 1/2 ton. Here is a pic when they came to pick it up.

Re: What do you guys think of this??

The way I see it they took pics at at least 5 different point, but I'm guessing they just wanted to show the progress and the fact that it was a frame off.

Re: What do you guys think of this??

i think it is quite expensive for the amount asked.
It IS a very nice truck, but I see nothing rare to demand that price.

Re: What do you guys think of this??

I made the 2 1/2 hour ride and checked it out today. The pictures really do it no justice. It's a nice sweet ride. That being said, he's not budging on the price. So I said i'd get back to him.

Re: What do you guys think of this??

I agree it is a sweet looking truck. As Loc Doc said...to do a Frame Off...be ready to spend a lot more than that if you have it done. Good Luck.

Re: What do you guys think of this??

The 8-350 emblems look too wierd where he put them and the Cheyenne don't seem to be in the right place either.

Should have woodgrain on the door panels.
