Interesting find at Pull a Part

Marked as a 1984 K10 Silverado, cool clock in the cluster, never seen one like that. Also had a later model center bolt valve cover 350 with the ecu mounted under the dash. Small lift, 1 bfg tire. Probably used to be someones project or toy. Cool to run across swaps and stuff like this though

Re: Interesting find at Pull a Part

I have a '86 dash with one of those clocks. To bad I'm not using a factory cluster lol.

I thought the TBI wasn't added until 1987, or something like that?

I have that same box under the dash of my 83'. I think it is just for the electronic spark control or something isn't it? I had planned on ripping it out.

Re: Interesting find at Pull a Part

That clock is the later style clock that had the quartz movement in it....I think it was from 80-87? It has the knob in the 8 position vs the 12 for the 73-79...got one off of ebay a while back

I'm not positive but I believe I remember reading that after a certain number of hours they shut off and you have to set the time again for them to come back on...

Re: Interesting find at Pull a Part

I got the same clock setup on my 86 Sierra Classic. I never had a problem with the battery being run down. You do have to setup the clock after they sit a prolonged time. Nice feature to have.
