Anyone put later seatson buddy frames?

I have a set of buddy buckets in my 68 GMCand was wondering if it has been done. The seats that are on it are out of a van I belive and the guy gave the original buddy seats the other day. but I have a 94 truck out in the yard that had 60-40 [driver side is same as a bucket] and thought about unbolting the frame and bolting it up to the buddy frame? Just an eyeball measurment looks close it would be a lot more comfortable. I will put to side by side tomorrow and take pics. Jim
