Complete SWB exhaust system

I'm redoing the exhaust system on my 68 and would like to make someone a good deal on my "old" stuff. So here's the list:

Long tube headers (3" collectors), 2 chamber flowmasters (2), 2 1/2" aluminized exhaust with x-pipe and stainless steel tips. It's setup to go under the trailing arm crossmember and over the rear axle. The whole system has less than 2500 miles on it. Obviously this will be expensive to ship, so it will need to be picked up but I will work with you. I have a sound clip in my build thread if you want to hear how it all sounds together, post #196 :

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=358692

Asking $300.

Rob

Rob,

Put me in line for the set without the headers. I can make my own arrangements to have shipped to VA 22405. Also ned to know where the cuts are made, how long the longest section is, and the total weight.

10.5Stang said he would go $100 on the headers. Are you in for $200 on the rest? Let me know.

Rob,

Don't know how I missed the SWB application. I have a LWB so this setup will not work for me. Thanks for your effort.

I do occasionally, but I'm not sure when I'll be back down there.

Re: Complete SWB exhaust system

My truck originally had drum brakes, I wonder if that could be the difference in the lines. I would probably just bend the line a little further away from the header and it should be OK. See Post above for the other questions.

Re: Complete SWB exhaust system

Yeah, I was planning on getting new stainless brake lines anyway, so I guess I'll route them a little further away.

I think it might be better to keep the sb motor stand and modify the exhaust so I don't cause a whole lot of other problems by moving the motor back.
