Re: All members check this out
The front end is likely one of the few things they'll actually keep when it hits production. The bed especially looks TINY beyond standard SWB style.

Re: All members check this out
ugly, plasticky, useless for any actual work. And a 7.0 liter V8? Please. 454'll eat that for breakfast.

Re: All members check this out
Hmmmm...looks like I'll be sticking to Toyota TRDs for my flagship trucks. I wish GMC would come out with a tough, sharp mid-range truck. I love the 67-72's, rocked a few budget S-10s but nothing GM is producing can satisfy my ego like my Tacoma.

Re: All members check this out
Yuck. Looks like the designers have been hanging out with the designers over at Ford too much.

Re: All members check this out
and another reason to run a F@!D for a work truck, probably equally ugly, but still not all plastic, lol flame away, if you had the issues my last duramax and dealership gave me with warranty on it, you'd be running one as well

Re: All members check this out
I don't like that trucks are becoming more comfy and cozy and car-like every time they redesign them. I use a truck for work everyday (2000 Sierra 2500) and I expect it to drive and ride like a truck. I feel the bumps and I'm ok with that, I knew it was a 3/4 ton truck when I bought it. I think the problem is all the wussbag MotorTrend-ish writers now that whine and complain if it doesn't feel like the Audi or BMW they were driving the week before. In turn, they give these new trucks bad reviews, all the limp-wristers that want to buy a truck to look manly take the reviews as Gospel, and the most truck-like trucks suffer sales-wise because they don't offer womb-like comfort. I wish there was a truck on the market now that still had a grill made out of metal and solid construction that would withstand the test of time.
That being said, I am probably going to buy a new GMC within 6 months. Unfortunately, I will have to SPECIAL ORDER it because I am strange and want a regular cab, 4wd, diesel to use as a WORK truck. If I wanted a crew cab with leather, nav, heated seats and every other girlie option, they have three in each color on the lot. Take a good look boys, because trucks are soon going to be cars without a trunk lid at best.
