Any one has it? used it?

I have been messing with the idea of getting one for simple jobs sure its 1/4" driver but ive seen the Makitas in action and they are pretty damn good and Ridgids warranty and money back policy i cant resist.

If it is half as good as the DeWalt one I have you'll wonder how you lived without it.

Sorry, I don't have any experience with the Ridgid. From the reviews I've seen say good things though. The only complaints I've really seen are about the battery life. Although those who complain about that seem to be doing more with them then what they are meant for.

I say do it. They are handy for a lot of stuff. Make jobs go a lot quicker.

Yeah some reviews ive seen say that they are better compared to Dewalt's.

I have a Makita, 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Driver
Model: BTD141Z, I can promise you it is bad to the bone. The only drawback is that it won't fit in tight spaces. At the time that i bought it Makita had a promotion on their website that allowed me to get another tool free by sending in my UPC label and receipt. I got a free recip. saw. I would highly recommend this one if it fits your needs.

So how does the Makita do with bigger bolts/nuts??? for example wheel nut or maybe old rusty bed bolts something like that...

Is it an impact driver or impact wrench? The impact driver is built to do just as it sounds, drive things. We use our impact driver when building things, working on remodels, and the like. It is great for driving long screws as the impact action slows the speed down at the end so you can sink the screw exactly as you desire. I also like it a lot for tapcons, with a standard driver I break a good 30% of them but I rarely break a tapcon with my impact driver.
I have never used mine as an impact wrench, the speed may be a bit fast for that, but if it works for that job too, why not?

Its a driver.. i was hoping it could tackle the bigger nuts and bolts but still it will save me time and its nice and small so i can carry it anywhere.

Which battery powered impact wrench has the most torque?

If you sit and let that thing hammer on bigger bolts you will destroy it. Its designed for small stuff and works great for that. Its awesome for running long bolts or screws in and then you can final torque by hand or break stuff loose by hand and bring them off with the gun. It works great for what its designed for.

the snap on 1/2" has 600+ ftlbs. it is a hoss but is heavy. i hav the 3/8" 14.4v and it is pretty strong. i can take lugs off with no problem. it is one of my favorite tools and it it gets used every day.
