could mean a couple things...
if you are talking c and k for GM trucks in general, then C is 2 wheel drive, and K is 4X4
If you are talking about the first two digits of your VIN on a 72 (your avatar looks like it could be a 72), then the C is for Chevy, and the K is 4X4

Yeah,they are just the designates for the GM truck chassis series.Trucks are C-series,Vans are G-series,StepVans are P-series,and a 4wd trucks are K-series.Ford trucks are F-series and Vans are E-series.Dodge trucks are D-series and Vans are A-series.
