Hi Dutchman,
Did you ever get an answer to your question? 10" or 17"? I'm trying to order the same part and I need to pick the right part. Thanks! |

Re: flaming river steering column which one???
Hi Mike67,
I have the column with the 10" neutral safetyswitch. It's still in the box but from what I can see it will be a tight fit for the switch, it will sit straight to the inside of the firewall. If you take the column with the switch located 17" from the bottom of the column it will fit ok. I don't have a safetyswitch in it now so I don't know the exact position of it. Hope this helps a bit or perhaps an other boardmember can tell you the right location of the switch. Have a nice day

Re: flaming river steering column which one???
I just bought mine from PICKMUP (Frank) out in Washington State. He orders lots from Flaming River and they are set up specifically for 67-72 GM Trucks...for a great price. You can also ask him any question and get the right answer.
