1960-62 Drop spindles
Hey guys, I have here a set of McGaughy's drop spindles for a 1960-'62 . They came in a baer brake kit and would not work with my truck's suspension. They are brand new and have never been used before.
You will need to look at McGaughy's website because there are certain things that you will need to do and understand before putting them on / buying. Converting to disc brakes is the biggest, I believe (99.9% sure) these spindles are designed to use the '73-'87 chevy disc brakes. I'm selling these for $150 + shipping. http://www.mcgaughys.com/newproducts.html

Re: 1960-62 Drop spindles
Its a long story.... but to make it short.....
I have a buisness relation with a guy at napa. He has a '62 and he bought a BAER disc brake kit for it ('60-'62). Well some where, some one but a '63 or newer front end on it and the spindles that came in the kit will not work with his truck. Then he decided to get a divorce. I bought the kit from him and got the '73-'87 spindles and put the brake kit onto my truck. So now im selling these spindles, because i have no use for them. They are brand new and they have never been driven on.

Re: 1960-62 Drop spindles
I can possibly get a bracket made for the spindles to run the "BAER" calipers.
The replacement pads for the kit i have are for a corvette, so i would assume that they run the vette calipers, then you could go to a parts store and get replacement calipers for a vette. I will call them tommorow and get details.
