Find on CL in Nor Cal
The pictures don't really show most of the truck. What do you guys think it would be worth assuming little rust (it is a CA truck) with factory air, and tilt.
The boxes in the back are a downside but I could likely swap over my bed to it, and that onto mine. This one has a body that LOOKS to be in better shape, with more options to boot. I am thinking about offering $2,000 if it is running well with little to no rust. What are your guy's thoughts? I shouldn't have too much trouble swapping the bed. If it had the standard bed painted same color with molding I would buy it in a second no problem. http://chico.craigslist.org/ctd/2116316896.html |

I think it's worth the asking price and I love that bed. That truck all cherried out would be something to show off.

If you could buy it for 2k you could probably sell the bed for at least 1k. It would be a good buy. Just my .02

Re: Find on CL in Nor Cal
Honestly the bed doesn't do much for me as I wouldn't use the boxes and it would kill any potential payload space. I don't know if the box/bed would bring $1,000 but I'm thinking if I could swap beds with my 69 I would be in pretty decent shape without really spending a ton of money out of pocket for the second truck. I have a feeling it will go pretty quick though before I go to look at it.

I drive by this truck everyday, so if you me to check it out for you, I can. I think it is a little.high for the area but it is at a dealership.

Re: Find on CL in Nor Cal
Hey John,
I am in Chico and could easily drive up the hill sometime this weekend. If you happen to be driving by the next couple days and take a look I'd appreciate it. It seems a little high for the area too IMO, I am curious as to what they took it on in trade in or consignment. If the engine and Trans are good I think it could bring pretty good money based on the exterior condition (based on pictures) but sight unseen it's tough to judge. |
