Anyone know why my tach would be bouncy? and does anyone have a pic of fuse block to show me where the right spot to plug it in is at? Thanks

Re: bouncy tach
I don't have a pic but on an auto guage there should be a wire for lights white, this hooks to the dash light circut, one switched power wire, red would go to the fuse block to a "switched" terminal, this means that whe the ign key is turned on the terminal has power, you need ether a test light or mulit meter to test them. one wire black to the neg battery. and Geen to the neg terminal of the of the coil.
Google up your tach if you don't have instructions handy and be sure your on the proper side of the coil

Re: bouncy tach
HEI or points?
Right before my HEI puked last year I would notice my aftermarket tach bouncing and occasionally losing all signal (returning to 0). Just a thought. Not sure on a factory tach as far as wiring goes, I'm sure someone else can chime in and help you there.
