GC Burdic
I wanted to write this in appreciation of Geoff. Last night we had the recieving of friends for my wife who passed away earlier in the week. I look up and who is standing there shaking my hand no other than Geoff. We have had the opprotunity to meet a couple of times in the past and have spoken on the phone, but nothing more than a few moments. Please keep in mind that Geoff lives at least three hours from me and was willing to stand in a very long line for someone who was little more than an aquaintance. Geoff I want to publically thank you for taking time to express your condolences and define what friendship is, sir what you did was above and beyond and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Yours was a true act of kindness and friendship that will not be forgotten, if there is anything that I can help you with ever, even just raking the leaves in your yard please call and I will come asap. Thank you for defining what a friend is and does, you have my family's sincerest thanks, Harold

Many Thanks Harold....although we only got to spend a very brief time together, I felt led to come up, hug your neck and let you know not only I, but a lot of us were thinking about you....

Re: GC Burdic
Geoff is a stand up member and a "true" person through and through. I have yet to meet him in the flesh but my encounters with him in a board related sense have been nothing but stellar. Until that time.... you're a good man Geoff.
Harold, we are sorry to hear about the loss of your wife; our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family during this difficult time.

Re: GC Burdic
Harold.Condolences for your loss.I have been in your shoes and can only say that I found it best to just get up and put one foot infront of the other until the day was over, then repeat.Eventually it will be better though it will never be easier or good.
On Geoff, I just have to say,I am not suprised. At all.I have had the good fortune to get to know Geoff and am amazed at how compassionate and caring he is.You can count yourself blessed for having such a true friend.

I appreciate you Deland....I think this board is awesome....we all share the passion of trucks, but we become family and friends because we share in each others lives in hardships and successes...The bible says treat thy neighbor like thy self..what a creed to live by....
