faster then i was thinking..

finally too out the truck with a bunch of friends for the first time after the new motor. and upgrades

fastest time out was a 17.00 with my 305/th350 (old setup)

(new set up)
fastest time out was a 14.01 -- couldnt break 13.99 had no helmet. so didnt mess with timming. but it had a bunch left in it.




yes along with the dinggle balls

neighbors pinto wagon. built race car. was a 9 sec car. blew the motor 10 years ago, he put a stock 302 out of a 80s mustang. everything else is full race.
he left me at the line (transbrake) but i pulled him in on the big end

NICE bro. i have to get my truck back to the track. i ran with a stock 355 with 305 heads on it and ran a 16.7... i am waiting till spring so i can run it again with the vortec heads and cam and what not. i doubt to see 14s tho. lol but seriously ur truck is awesome. im jelous. it has come a LONG way

His specs newly rebulit 400 small block. two eyebrow flat top pistons standerd bore 9:5to1compression . elgin cam split lift .503 .510 and split duration. all new speed pro bearings, fresh heads with bigger valves, 1:6roller rockers. edelbrock eps intake. holley 750 carb

yea it feels great. going out again mess with the timming and jetting. see if i can get into the high 13's

the 2and1/4 exhaust piping is realy choking it up it feels. going to 3inch and better mufflers when money allows
