What tire size is proper for a 15x7 steel rim?

I don't think there is one proper size, with a 7 inch rim you wouldn't want much wider than 10 inches of rubber, 235/75/15 is a good size about 29" tall 9" wide.

This calculator http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCal...?action=submit allows you to pick a tire size and it tells you the required wheel size.
Min tire size for a 7.00 wheel is 195/75R15, per the calculator. (7.6" section width) Max tire size for a 7.00 wheel is 31x10.50R15, per the calculator. (10.51 section width) Last edited by lakeroadster; 01-05-2011 at 09:28 PM. |

This thread was very help. Ive just got one question. With the 235 75 15 will i ruN into trouble because my truck is lowered? Its got a little drop but it doesnt sit on the floor or anything. Thanks in advance.
