Have you seen CPP's new website?

I was researching some of the parts I wanted to use for some upcoming tech stories in Custom Classic Trucks, and Classic Trucks when I discovered CPP had completely revamped its website, and its one of the coolest things I've seen in a longtime. Mainly because there's no big push on CPP products. For example some of the CCT links are to stories I did using Early Classic Enterprises products on my '66 C10.

The only thing I didn't like was the anonymous byline used by the editor, and whatever a "media rep" is supposed to be — a little too corporate, and cold I'd say.

Here's a link www.classicperform.com

Re: Have you seen CPP's new website?

Are you referring to their tech links?

I browsed through those and the majority have to deal with CPP products which is expected of course, since it's their website and tech articles are a great way to advertise/sell products. Although there are some related to other vendors, well at least ones with products CPP doesn't sell or make of course. Either way, it's nice to see all the articles posted on their site for browsing.

Re: Have you seen CPP's new website?

Yes, I was. Yesterday when I first checked it out I stumbled onto some tech stories that were direct links to stories archived on CCT, and CT's websites, and this is where I ran across many different brands. Today I stumbled onto to some stuff that was CPP branded. The website is pretty deep which I found amazing. Who knows where all of the content comes from. Some is canned, and some isn't. I read a story on '65 Buick Rivieras that was worded like someone had their kid write it. Sloppy facts, etc. That's what one gets when they don't want to pay a real journalist I guess.

I was checking out some of the links to Jay Leno's web, that was some cool stuff. The '61 Impala from Sweden, that's now in the US. It's amazing what the Swedes do with stuff.

Re: Have you seen CPP's new website?

Here this would have been a better link to describe what I'm talking about
www.classicshoptalk.com

I think some of you might have missed my point. I wasn't talking about where, or not where not to buy parts, but how unique I found this section of CPP's website to be.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and please include a link to a better example, but I think CPP is the first parts company to do something like this.

I'm finding myself checking out the links to Jay Leno's web more than anything else.
