Front lower control arms

Starting the rebuild up front tonite. I've got a mixed bag of components and need to replace my lwr a-arms. Currently have 73-87 spindles and rotors mated to a 71-72 lwr arm (with the newer ball joint. The arms have been modified (shock mount relocated and bump/steering stop removed).

I'm installing ECE 1" drop coils and 2 1/2" drop spindles. Need to know if I can use either 71-72 or 73-?? lower control arms?

Thanks in advance for the assistance!

Re: Front lower control arms

Either.
The 71-72 arms are steel bushed.
The 73-87 arms are rubber bushed.
The lower balljoints are the same.

Re: Front lower control arms

71-87 lower ball joints for 1/2 ton trucks are the same part number.
The 71-72 uppers are a different part number that the 73-87 uppers.

(67-70 trucks,... both upper and lowers are another number altogether)
