Re: truck swerves right when braking

Either your left front brake is not engaging properly... or your right front is grabbing to soon.

Leaky wheel cylinder causing it to grab?

Re: truck swerves right when braking

could be serveral things. you'll just need to jack it up and pull off the front wheels and the drums to find out whats going on.

Re: truck swerves right when braking

well that tells me that the right brake is working and the left one is lazy.

Pull the wheels and inspect, looking for a leaking wheel cylinder, that might have gotten brake fluid on the shoes ( either side )
If you do not find this, check to see if BOTH sides of each wheel cylinder is extending. Sometimes an old WC can get stuck on one side.
You could have a rubber brake hose that is collapsed on the left, or staying on a bit on the right side. IF I WERE YOU

I would pull the wheels and inspect, and if I found nothing obvious, I would put it back together and adjust the brakes evenly and try it again.

I would next suspect WC's and brake hoses

Re: truck swerves right when braking

could be the alignment.

when the front end squats it may be toeing out on one side.

or if the rear is lifting a panhard could be pulling the rear end over to one side and cause it to brake steer.
