Re: how to mount 40/20/40 silverado seats
I pulled mine out of a 2002 Silverado, used the tracks they came with but I had to redrill new holes in the floor. I filled the old holes with some painted bolts which you can't see. There is no fuel tank behind the seats any more, I have made a storage and speaker box that will fill the space now.

If you didn't read my install ^ You have to shim the back bolts so the seat will travel all the way back on the tracks. I used narrow a-arm shims from my race truck to raise it up about 1/4 inch |

If you drill new holes it would be a good idea to put plates under the cab to re-enforce it.

Re: how to mount 40/20/40 silverado seats
I recently put a similar seat in my truck. I took some aluminum I beam and made it into a t then drilled the holes to fit in the old holes. I also work in a metal shop so it made it easier for me than it may be for some people. But it worked great. I may be able to download some pics if it helps.
