Yep thats mine. The start buttons are real easy to install. bUt if you want a button like mine that will start and stop the engine its not that easy to install. Same way with cost the push button starts are real cheap. The start/stop button is not cheap... And if you want it to work of a remote starter alarm aux remote button is even more work to install...

Did you get the one that comes with the lock poppers? Just to let you know- I got some of those (just like them) with my GPS alarm. They wasnt strong enough to push up my locks on my truck, and my locks are super smooth. They would pull them down but not up. I ended up using some factory ones off a chevy van and they work great... Just a heads up-

Thanks, yes...door poppers. If they are weak I'll take the same route as you did. Great info!

Re: push button starter.....

I cant see it being to hard to do... But wouldnt you want a kill switch under that dash so its harder to steal and to shut it off? We have a prius with one and i dont really like it but i think one for a truck would be cool because you can tell when its running an dont leave it on for several hours at a time.

Re: push button starter.....

Mine has a key switch under the dash for backup. My button only works when the GPS alarm is off. It took me 4 days to install the start/stop buton, GPS alarm and electric door locks. For me it was hard. Im going to be installing this same setup in my new project:

Re: push button starter.....

If a guy rigged it up to the horn so you had to push on the horn to get it started and kept the key switch in the truck and make it so when the key was in the on position then you had to push the horn button to start it and made it so when you turned the key to start position the horn would go off i bet you could leave the doors unlocked and key in it and never have to worry about getting it stolen.

Re: push button starter.....

I installed on in the ashtray of my Chevelle (where the cigarette lighter used to be).

The key is still used for theft control, "run" position and for shutting the car off. The starter button is used for "crank" only.
