Re: 72 overhauling, another step done
What tail lights are you using? I've been considering some aftermarket tail lights

Re: 72 overhauling, another step done
tail lights are '02 - '06 Escalade. You can use the 02 -06 Avalanche lights but they are a bit more work because of a more rounded edge. Avalance lights are easier to come by (and at least 75% cheaper) than the Escalade. try to get the OEM wiring harness and the harnesses of both are NOT compatible.

Re: 72 overhauling, another step done
getting closer, finally got the SubDeville back home today. Hoping to have it all back together by father's day. Paint doesn't show as well with our liquid sunshine but the end results exceeded my expectations. I will retake pics if and when the sun ever comes back out. The brown is a 2010 Accura MDX Ionized Copper, and the "white" is the Escalade pearl. taped up the tailights to see how it looks. I will be silver leafing where the pearl and brown meet with a dark coper pinstripe this weekend. Thought this would set it apart from airbrushed chrome.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the paint scheme was '56 Chevy. I think it looks killer... Great job. LockDoc

thx LockDoc, '56 chevy is what it is
CG, problem with Ochre is everyone either starting singing "yellow submarine" or wanted to smoke a joint. Lol.
