Smile Gmc 1/2 - 3/4 - 1 ton

I know in a chevy it's a c10 , c20 ect, but in a GMC [1964 TO BE EXACT] 1000= 1/2 TON , 1500= 3/4 TON , 2500= 1 TON. I think this is correct but could someone please confirm or correct? i need to order some parts that are for a 3/4 ton and I want to make sure I'am right. THANKS IN ADVANCE MIKE
