swapping an olds 455 into my 67 c10
hey everybody i was plannin on doin the 455 swap in my c10. lookin to see if anybody has the part numbers of the engine side motor mounts from the chevy diesels they say work, wondering if anybody has those on hand i'd apreciate it, also if anybody has any pics the could share that would be awsome too. thanks guys. by the way i also did a search to see if there was anything on here and didnt come up w/ anything usefull

I know a couple of folks have done this swap before, not sure about where the pics are offhand...

i've had a 455 buick in my '72 short step for 5 years now . i used the frame brackets from a mid 70's small block truck (73-87 same) and the motor mounts and towers from the '73 riviera the motor came from . olds does use a much shorter/different mount and towers than buick but you get the idea

actually yes i do i'll probly start a build thread or somthin w/ pics, i got a few to start but i'm gunna take more in a few min and post them on here. thanks guys for all ur help from the way ya make it sound it, it shouldnt be all that hard to pull off.
