So I have a lot of plans for the c10 including first swaping the old tired 250 for a sbc as soon as I can find everything to keep it a 3spd... Then to finish installing the drop springs 3in front 5in rear so it will set really nice......... then to bring the exterior back to its former glory.......

Thats going to be really cool. I love the 50th trucks. That would be really cool with the 6 cylinder too!

I would love to keep the six in it but i dont wanna have a chance to hurt it hahaha its the most documented car i own.... its nuts i have all the service records and dealer stuff down to the original loan papers... and i got a dozen sbcs laying around and a 355 that needs to be put to use..... its gonna be a short box hot rod..... haha i missed my 72 c10 too much

I sold my In line 6.. I didnt know better at the time!!!! It was matching number. If I was you, Id refirbish it and put it on an engine stand and keep it!!!! As a trophy piece!!!

for the most part i found a 3spd with electric overdrive trans for it then i want to do a 5 lug conversion and drop spindles...... just got to find some good gold interior parts....

no my 50th is the gold 68 that has a nice cab just the front clip was rough so i replaced it and the blue truck is my 72 c10 that was the best truck ive ever had..... it was nasty

maybe so im just happy i got a new project..... I got a bunch of new parts for the truck so i guess ill have a lot to do when i get home..... I just hope ill have everything to set the sbc in the truck next weekend, I got the cam and new headers, and lots of chrome for the truck, just need a really nice pair of doors and possibly a 318 for a dart i might get...... too many cars lol

well over the weekend i got the v8 headers and a bunch of sbc preformance parts just trying to decide which carb and intake to run....a single plane or dual with a qjet..... then i also have the frame rails painted ready for the sbc right after i paint the firewall..... o yeah i also got a bunch od sheetmetal for the cab so hopefully it will be right soon

ok thats was bacially what I started with friday but since then the truck looked like the friday night
then it got the motor sat night |
