Anyone have pics of their trucks with a crossover toolsbox in their bed? I am looking to get one and just looking for some pics. Anyone recommend a specific brand? I have a lwb not that that matters.

I need to make a storage space some how, I figured this would work the best. Seems like those soft covers for the bed shrink up too much and end up being useless. Let me know what you guys think.

I guess I am trying to get a feel for what everone feels is a better move. I like the toolbox idea but I also thought the tonnou cover might be nice. There are pros and cons for both I assume, just trying to hear some ideas.

If any one has either please post pics and reasons for going with what you did. I need to do something just can not decide.

Here's a pic of mine, though you can barely see it. Instead of sitting on top of the bed rails, it sits down on the bed floor. I bought it off a friend of mine who had it custom made.

It's great for holding tools, oil, and stuff like that. It doesn't have much room anymore, though, since I modified it and installed an auxiliary fuel tank inside of it! Still have room for oil and junk, though.

My box is similar to Eddie's. It is a Husky, from Home Depot, made by Contico. It cost me about $175. It is nice because it does not show much.

Mine was a gift so I dont know exactly how much it cost, but I think it was just under $200. I dont remember the brand of mine, I think it was purchased at Costco. These types have tons of room inside, more then I use. I need to build some dividers to clean it up, right now its like a big toy box

with things just sliding all around in there.

no im just kidding, we were out shooting and I took the pictures. Thought the desert and mountains would be a good background, since I live in AZ. Thats what everyone thinks its like here anyway

Sears has an interesting tool box if you don't want that fits side to side. They have a tool box that goes over the wheel well toward the tailgate. In order to access the drawers you need to open the tailgate. The tool box also fits below the bed rail line. I'm considering one for the passengerside. Mostly to add weight on the side due to bed tweek. Traction too. :p
