Re: Spherical Clutch Linkage?

Not there's, but one similar. They work really well.

What's up with your linkage?

Re: Spherical Clutch Linkage?

I have one, works good. My factory linkage was worn pretty badly and had a bunch of slop in it.

The linkage on my 76 is really worn out at every point so I am figuring out the best way to fix it without having it wear out again quickly.

Re: Spherical Clutch Linkage?

Hay guys. My linkage is worn pretty badly and I was thinking I was going to have to make up some from bar stock or order new from GM or put in a hydrolic one. I checked out the Brothers site and have a question one of you can answer for me. The kit listed, does it have all the parts needed or is there other parts I will need? I worked for Chevy for 33 years and for the life of me I can't remember how many rod there are 2 or 3. It's to danm cold to go rolling around under the truck in the snow to double check, thanks, jim

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.

Re: Spherical Clutch Linkage?

There's 2 rods, one from the pedal under the dash to the z-bar and another from the z-bar to the clutch fork. You get both with the kit.

Well said ironroad9c1, make your own, it's easy and cheaper. I did it on my 68 Longbed and the end result is more satisfying. In most cases custom is always going to fit and work better too.

Re: Spherical Clutch Linkage?

I would love to save money by building my own, but dont have a welder so it makes it a little difficult.
