question on how to get a patina design.....
how would i get a semi gloos pint job to kinda ''fade'' off into a red ''primer''? like in this pic look at the door....

if you already have paint on the door you can use a scotch brite pad if I am correct and scrub some of the original paint off. least thats what I have heard others do on here.

I've done it with comet cleaner and a scotchbrite kitchen sponge with a garden hose.

thanks guys i am thinking of doing my CST all semi gloos black and then having a red show up inder neath on the doors /bed/ fenders/hood like the way it is on spray bombs dads truck

well i went out isde pushed the 67 out of the garage and rounded up all the stuff and did it note when you use comet cleaner and rub the truck down with the scotch brite pad it gets really dull and wax is the only thing to bring it back to life......it actually worked!

DO NOT hold back on pics because some don't like this fad. There are alot of guys who DO like this, and passing the information you have could help them with there questions. This site is to help people, even if someone personally doesn't like the outcome. I'm still on the fence
