looking for opinions on bedliners

what do you guys have for bedliners? i've looked at rhino, line-x, and a much cheaper one. i don't think it goes against forum policies to say what you paid for it, but i'd be curious about that if you don't mind sharing. i'm thinking i like the line-x the best, but i'm curious as to what everyone else uses.

I have the line-x in my current truck. Don't remember what I paid but it was similar to rhino. I have abused the bedliner with firewood and many other things and it still looks like it did when I picked it up. I will definitely be putting it in my new project.

Had several of my drivers done in the past. I prefer Line-X but can't say they are better than others. Average cost was 325.00 but it has been a while. I use bed mats these days.

For me, drop in bed liner with paint saver pad underneath to stop paint scratching/rust. $150-$200 tops, including bed rail covers. Used liners are available cheap if you can find one for a square. My Rhino Liner faded/stained quickly. Line X will fade also unless you pay $200 more for a special deluxe coating.

Ive got a drop in bedliner for a shortbedsquare that I can barely give away, so it is a cover for the spare parts.

I bought a gallon of some stuff called bed armour from auto zone...$100 bucks for the gallon, and a little paint tray, roller and brush...I waited the time between coats, and I cleaned and sanded my bed, But I don't think the stuff sticks too well...If you really dig into it with your thumb nail you can scratch it. It does seem like it's getting a little harder with time...but over all i think the do it yourself stuff isn't as good as the stuff like line x

I guess I'm the odd one here - but I just handed my daughter a paint brush and a quart of rustoleum and told her to knock herself out...



Any of the Linex or other spray on products I've seen appear to turn gray and don't look clean enough to me. They also seem to "scuff" and leave a scraped spot if anything has been drug across there.

I paid $6 to have mine done. I figure I can repaint it 50 times if I choose to and still come out ahead.

Here's mine, I used Southern Polyurethanes. Sprayed it on my self, total cost including the gun to spray it was $180. Line-X wanted over $500 to do the same thing.

everyone i know swears by the linex stuff... my bed needs replacement so ihave a bedliner in it for now but when that all comes off im gonna lineX it

I think I may go with it myself, but have never used it.

Rhino liner, it's faded but it's never came off. I don't really mind the faded so much, it's a truck

My department recently bought a new batch of fire engines. The entire interiors are done in Line-X brand liner from the factory. I've been driving mine for about 6 months now and like it very much. We're pretty hard on the inside of the trucks with guys wearing equipment and scraping and banging around in there, axes and such. It's been 100 percent bombproof so far.

I don't have many pictures that show the interior of the cab but this one kind of gives you an idea. They sprayed the inside of the doors, door jambs, and everything before they assembled it all. I love it.

Total from start to finish was about 5 hours, and most of that was prep work....probably took me 45 mins for the actual spraying. I scuffed the entire bed with a red scotchbrite pad, then cleaned with wax and grease remover twice and let it dry thoroughly. Masked off the bed rails and covered the truck in plastic, then spray away!

The PO of my truck used the auto parts store do it yourself kit and it looks like crap. Peeling off in areas and he decided to do the tops of the bed rails. I STILL cant find anything that will take the stuff off!!
