Door seals - Help

I need to replace my door weather stripping.

Did i read somewhere that a Dodge Dakota door seal will fit my 68 GMC or am I crazy? (dont answer that!) lol

I want something that has the built in "clips" rather than glue.

Any Suggestions or help???

Re: Door seals - Help

Buy the "press-on" door to cab seals from GMCPauls, they fit like a GLOVE.

Zep is right.
I bought mine last week.
Paul privately e-mailed me and helped me with every last stoopid question I had and did it in a Timely Matter.
I ordered my seals from him and with shipping/Tax it was around $79.00 and they arrived within 3 working days via USPS.
The look SO MUCH BETTER than the old style "Glue in" too!

GMC PAULS GOT THE STUFF !

I am very interested in the snap on style weatherstripping. Has anyone got any pictures or anymore information about these? I love the idea, but would love to more about how it works.

Check out this thread on the review forum. I'm pretty much sold on these when I do mine.

Dodge makes the best ones... '87-'97 Dodge Dakota, pick 'em up at your local salvage yard. You can find some nice ones for 5-10 bucks per pair. The nice thing is they are slip fit, you don't have to glue them on. Be sure to get the connector that joins them at the seam. Sometimes it falls out when you remove them. All you need is a phillips screwdriver, small hammer, and a prybar. You have to cut about 3" off the length...

They go on easy, takes a while to break them in though.

Re: Door seals - Help

Anybody else do these other than GMCPauls? Just went to buy at set and he no longer ships abroad apparently due to high numbers of stolen credit cards...obviously stolen credit cards are not an issue in the U.S...

Had a PP account for years wwotr, I thought I'd drop him a PM to reassure him but you can't even do that for some reason.
