L.E.D.'s
I bought some red l.e.d's from Oreilly the other day to stick in my taillights, but the funny thing was when i just stuck them in the sockets, and stepped down on the brake pedal, they worked just fine. Then i pushed them in to the sockets and locked into place, nothing worked?!?!?! Has anyone else ran into this problem? Are my connections just not lining up right? It's odd because regular 1157's work perfect but these just don't seem to. Any advice or help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Aaron

I told folks them APC L.E.D's weren't no good....
There have been several posts about LED's, and my comment has always been that the APC 1157 replacements, whether red or yellow, are no good. They're dim and they don't fit the sockets very well.
I have used LED's from www.ledtronics.com, with great success. They're bright and they fit. They're also expensive, at $48 each bulb. But, they'll never burn out in my lifetime. Reumster sells LED inserts for our trucks, so he is in competition with APC/Ledtronics, but his stuff looks good and is competitively priced, if the replies on the board are up to snuff. Oh, I'm stuck with three of the APC bulbs for late GM products. Maybe I can take them back, maybe not. They're still in the pkg.

APC and Ledtronics are all using a patented idea illegally. Just trust me. If you want the best "Universal" LED standard bulb replacements for the best possible price use, www.jamstrait.com LEDs they are very bright, they offer different 1157 LED bulbs, and work properly. APC are truely a big joke. Ledronics are great but are greatly over priced for the # of LEDs used.
