Altered bolt pattern brake rotors
I was wondering if there is any where out there that you can order rotors with a different bolt pattern. I am wanting to go from a 5 on 4 3/4 to a 5 on 5.5 and do not really have the room for adapters. It would be for a nova sub frame.

Re: Altered bolt pattern brake rotors
Prob not many options for a 5x5.5" rotor for a Nova spindle w/o getting a 'kit' that uses different parts & offers bolt pattern choices.

Would it be feasable to mod your A-arms to accept truck ball joints? Might be worth a look.

Re: Altered bolt pattern brake rotors
are you sure you're right on those patterns? Seems like you would going from a 5 x4-3/4 (what the nova would be) to a 5x5 (what a c10 would be).
Either way, I would be talking to a local (and confidante) machine shop and see what they can do for you. or what Ken said.. that's not a bad idea either. Last edited by smashingchuck; 02-26-2011 at 04:41 PM. |

Was talking to some people and they were saying that the machine shop could re drill the rotors to the 5 on 5 1/5. Has any one had that done before.

Re: Altered bolt pattern brake rotors
I re-drilled my rotors, I have a small machine shop, also. Any competent machine shop should be able to do this for you.
