shift points
I have a 700r4, and want to adjust the shift point. Right now it shifts from 2200 to 2500, and I would like to raise it to around 3000 rpm. Is it possible to do that? What would I have to do to adjust that? Thanks for the help.

Best way I have found is with a governor weight / spring kit. You might be able to tighten up the tv linkage, but that is a really excellent way to destroy 700 R4's.

Don't mess with the TV cable, that alters the line pressure (oil pressure) in the tranny and will destroy it.
