Name that color! I'm blazer color picking on some paint and love this one!
Anyone have any idea what color this is? I just bought a 71 blazer (used to have a 71 c10 in my avatar and always wanted a blazer), but she will need to be sprayed. Instead of just looking at colors I like, I decided to google image blazers so I could see the color on the trucks. I found this as an image but couldn't get much for details on paint other than that it is a PPG color. Also, noob question, but what is the difference between the CST blazer and how will I know if I got one? It's a K5 4wd 350/350. Thanks for your help!

The CST's had the woodgrain trim along the bottom generally, if it's still there. They also had the highlander interior (cloth inserts), wood simulated trim on the door panels, rear interior panels etc...
Like this,,,,except I switched mine over to a houndstooth design. Good luck on the color choice. It's a hard decision. I like so many different colors I can't have just one vehicle. |

I agree Chrysler has some nice looking colors out their this year. As far as the CST option CUSTOM on Jimmy's. Both are the same. The Hylander option was a seperate option, not part of the normal cst. This should answer your question about the cst. Hope it comes out readable.

Just noticed, pamplet left out a few things. Like wood grain door panels, chrome gear shifters. And I can't remember what package the rear side panels came with. Was either cst, rear seat, or top. If I can find my order sheet, it has more info on things. I do remember you had to really be careful when you ordered one to put down everything you wanted. Because they were vary bare bones without the options. First anything I ever ordered that didn't come with a passenger seat, door glass or even a roof.

Thank you all for your help on the CST question. It almost seems like the standard waterproof one has it's own appeal. I love the interior rear panels and carpet and the plaid blue houndstooth seats from the highlander, but not worrying about too much rain damage is kind of appealing too.

Here is pretty good link for the options on our older vehicles, copy and paste this into your browser. Its from the GM Heritage Center

I talked to the guy that had that truck for sale. The color is a BMW color if I remember correctly. Go to your local paint supply house and check the color chip books

You are correct, I also remember talking to this guy on this blazer and he mentioned it was a BMW color.
