Re: engine id help

thanks todd,
one of these engines is in a 1940 chevy fire truck chassis. the cab was used on another project and the body is gone but if you have a need for running gear we can talk to see if i have what you need.

My 40 Chevy fire truck has had the running gear completely changed. I have a 283 sbc, turbo 400, 1988 box truck rear end, front axle modified with 1988 box truck spindles and brakes. The only items that I could use would be trim, body parts and fire truck items (lights, sirens, spot lights, ect.). If all you have is a rolling frame there is probably not a lot that would help me but there is probably someone that could use it. Good luck with your project.
