Show me pics of C10's with 22inch wheels!!!

I'm currently in the process of buying some 22's for my 67 C10. I'm concerned about the fitment and tire sizes. I need to see what I'm working with. help me out my fellow truckers!!!! Show me dem 22's!!!!

Not a truck, but my blazer on 22's.

Bags in place of coils. Wheels are 22x9.5 with 15 mm offset. Front tires are 265/35 rears are 295/30.

I would REALLY like to know how you attatched those caps to the smoothies... they look awesome!!

Colin i bought the set of clips that go along with the caps, made a pattern, then drilled and tapped the rims, I'll take a picture of it later

They are centerline smoothies, painted satin black in the centers with 55 chevy hubcaps also painted satin black in the center

What is your tire size and how low are you dropped?

tires are 265/35/22 all around.

i have 3 inch drop springs in front and 5 inch drop springs in rear. also have 2 inch lowering blocks in rear but i dont have my wood bed in yet so it mite sit a little lower, not sure.

i have new stock spindles up front that i purchased when i did the disc brake upgrade. my truck was pretty riding pretty low since the PO heated the springs so i wanted to bring it up a bit.

btw, just checked out your build thread. Truck looks awesome! ill be watching for that painless install since those are in the plans for my build.

Thanks SBC, brakes are on the agenda next. who did you go with to get your brakes. Had a bad experience with CPP. Trying to choose between POL and ECE right now. Do you have front and back disc? and did it rub before you got the stock spindles. i want mine a tad lower just a tad!!!! with 40 series tires is that possible?

i did the swap a couple years ago but if i remember right i used POL, mainly because they are based in CA so the parts get here fast. i am very happy with their products so far (also got a rear mounted tank from them)

i kept the rear drum brakes and just did a drum rebuild on them at the same time, also from POL. i didnt put the 22's on until after the swap but i have never had any rubbing issues in front. i did have to use a spacer on the rear but pretty sure that was just because of the rims i chose. (backspacing i guess)

Here is my new project 68 C10 with 22" Lorenzo WL14 #454 rim frt. & back, Nitto NT 420S tires, rims are 10" deep with tire mounted over all width is 11.5" each mounted rim & tire is 89.6 lbs. The trucks inner tubs are missing my thoughts on that is the tires are too wide for the opening and they do rub if going over bumps too fast. PO has installed twist coil extenders two ea. coil, the back drums have 1 1/2" spacers for that fitment and again they also rub, PO he says installed Jeep coils but I'am not so sure on the coils being Jeep, they fit too good for the mounting brackets, The stance is a bit on the high side truck measures from frt. of cab 13.5" & at the rear of cab 15". This is NOT my cup of tea but I sure didn't buy it for the rims & tires its well you all know its that Beautifully Designed Front End that catches our eyes. mjgord51

I’ve seen a “show me your 22s” “show me your lip” but what I want to know is, What does it take to get 22s with big lips. I have a 60” WMS rear and was wondering what kind of lip I could get with 22s.

I have transits 22x9 with 2 1/2" drop spindles and 1" drop springs up front and 4" drop coils in rear. Rear has 1 1/4" spacers and plenty of clearance.
